Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actress and television presenter. She's best known as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her showbiz career at a young age. She was a lead actress in TV dramas as young as 16 years old. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was both critically and commercially acclaimed. The other Oscar nominated movies featuring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra's professional career has included work on a number of significant national and international productions. Among others, these projects include the British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. Her other roles include being juror at each of The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
