Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney is an American-Lebanese barrister, human rights activist and philanthropist. She was born Amal Ramzi Al-Amuddin. When she graduated from Oxford University School of Law she went on to pursue a successful and long-lasting career in human rights as well as international law. Her notable clients include the people of Armenia that is fighting against the Turkish government over the acceptance and apology for Armenia's Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged to American actor George Clooney to marry him in the year 2014 and immediately became a household-name in popular culture. Prior to this, she was already been well known by the legal profession for her ability to represent clients. It is her job to represent multinational companies in court proceedings and negotiations regarding government regulations, and also human rights or social justice. In 2015, Doughty Street Chambers in London is where she was employed as an attorney.
